About

Speak the way you think.

You already have the ideas, the opinions, the sense of humour. ScoreFluent is practice that gets your English out of their way — in the exam, and in every conversation after it.

Why ScoreFluent?

I moved countries on the back of an English exam, so I know what students are carrying — the pressure, the money, the stakes. And I watched the prep industry respond to that by milking them: leaked prediction questions, memorised templates, hacks to game the scoring.

I'm ethically against it. And it fails students twice — once at the test centre when the tricks don't hold, and again when they arrive in a new country without the language they were supposed to have learned. Because the exam was never the point. Passing is step one; real command of the language is what lets you belong somewhere new.

Vision

I believe AI should do the boring work so humans can do the human work. In exam prep, that splits cleanly. AI is brilliant at the grunt work — marking every attempt against the real rubric, spotting patterns, tracking progress. Humans are at their best inspiring, encouraging, building relationships. So ScoreFluent gives students examiner-style feedback in seconds and a hyper-personalised path to improvement — and it puts teachers at the centre, not out of the picture: they see exactly where every student is weak without spending evenings marking, and spend that time actually coaching.

The vision is a prep ecosystem where everyone's incentives point the same way — students genuinely improving, teachers doing what only teachers can, and exam owners whose test integrity we strengthen rather than undermine.

What we believe

Pay for practice, not for a subscription. You buy credits and spend them when you practise. Credits never expire, there is no auto-renew, and reviewing your past attempts is always free.

Feedback should be specific. “7.5, keep practising” is not feedback. A highlighted word with the model pronunciation one tap away is.

Fluency outlasts the exam. The test is a milestone, not the goal. Every drill is built to leave you with English that keeps working after the certificate arrives.

Our story

ScoreFluent started at home, not in a boardroom. After migrating to Australia — a country where everything from a job interview to small talk at a barbecue happens in English — one of us admitted something that stuck: she didn't feel confident. Not for lack of ability, but for lack of fluency, and it chipped away at her every day.

That's why ScoreFluent keeps coaching after the certificate arrives — because fluency, not the score, is the real goal. If you read the blog, that's the same philosophy in writing.

We didn't build it alone. We teamed up with some of the best minds in the industry — AI engineers, software developers, English teachers, language trainers, and PTE institutes — the people who see every week exactly where students lose marks. The scoring, the drills and the feedback you get in the app have all been shaped by someone who teaches this for a living.

ScoreFluent is made by Shunya Tech in Victoria, Australia. If it helps you walk into your exam — or your next conversation — calmer than you would have otherwise, it's doing its job.
