Terms of service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of ScoreFluent — the website at scorefluent.com and the ScoreFluent mobile and web apps, operated by Shunya Tech, a company registered in Victoria, Australia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
ScoreFluent provides AI-assisted English practice: scored Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading attempts, feedback, study plans, and tutoring features. Scores and band predictions are estimates produced by AI models to guide your practice — they are not official exam results and do not guarantee any outcome on a real exam.
ScoreFluent is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Pearson (PTE), ETS (TOEFL), IELTS, or any other exam provider. Their names are used only to identify the exams our practice material targets.
Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding agreement to use the service.
Credits & payments
Practice attempts are paid for with credits, purchased as one-time packs. Credits never expire and there is no recurring subscription. Prices are shown at purchase and processed by Stripe.
If a scoring attempt fails on our side, the credits for that attempt are automatically refunded to your balance. Cash refunds for purchased packs are handled case-by-case — contact support@scorefluent.com. Completed, successfully scored attempts are not refundable, including when you disagree with a score.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempting to breach security, scrape or bulk-extract question content, resell access, use the service to cheat on a real exam, or upload content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
You own the responses you submit. You grant us the licence needed to process them — to score them, generate feedback, and operate the features you use. Practice questions you choose to share with the community may be shown to other users. Our handling of your recordings and personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Our content
The service, including its question bank, scoring models, design, and software, is owned by ScoreFluent or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own study.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep scoring accurate and the service available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that AI feedback is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
