FAQ

What this checks, honestly.

Why would my template be a problem?

Pearson updated PTE scoring (Nov 2024, tightened Aug 2025) to an AI + human-review hybrid. Memorized frames that fit any prompt — the kind many practice portals still teach — now read as off-topic or low-content instead of earning marks.

What does the check actually look at?

Generic filler phrases, content that doesn't reference the sample question or chart you were shown, keyword stuffing, and speed-over-meaning patterns in spoken scripts. It quotes the exact risky lines and tells you how to fix each one.

Is this a score prediction?

No — it's a template-risk audit of one response. For rubric-aligned scoring across all four sections, practise in the full app — new accounts start with 40 free credits.
