In short
- White label ranges from a logo on a shared platform to your own domain. Ask exactly what students see.
- Setup and hosting fees differ by vendor. Some publish them, most do not.
- ScoreFluent offers your logo, colour and own subdomain, with a custom domain on request. It has no store apps and runs in the browser on phones.
- It is self-serve: minimum 2 seats, month to month, create your portal online.
Many institutes want students to see their brand, not a vendor's. This page lists what to check, and what the vendors we reviewed publish.
It is written by the ScoreFluent team. We link the official pages behind each competitor fact. Where a vendor does not say, we write "not stated".
What white label can mean
White label is not one thing. Before you compare vendors, decide which of these you need.
- Logo and colours. Your logo and theme inside a shared platform.
- Co-branded subdomain. An address like
yourinstitute.vendor.com. - Your own domain. An address like
practice.yourinstitute.com, on your own domain name. - Branded apps. A student app in the app stores under your name.
- Hidden vendor. The vendor's name is not shown at all.
Each step costs more or takes longer. Many vendors charge for the later ones.

What to check before you sign
1. Subdomain or own domain
A subdomain is quick and often free. An own domain looks more like your institute. Ask what it costs, how long it takes, and who holds the domain records.
2. Setup and hosting fees
Ask for every one-off and recurring fee in writing. Ask whether they change if you add exams or students.
3. What students see
Ask for a demo login. Check the sign-in page, emails, invites and the footer. Ask where the vendor's name still appears. Know what is left before you sign.
4. Apps
A store app under your name is a real benefit. It also needs the vendor to publish and update it. If there is no store app, check how the product behaves in a phone browser.
5. Data and student ownership
Ask who owns student records and attempt history. Ask what you can export. Ask what happens to the data if you leave.
6. Exam coverage
Check whether IELTS, TOEFL or other exams are in the same contract. Some vendors sell them as separate products. Ask whether exams added later cost extra.
7. Contract terms
Check the minimum, the term, the notice period and what you can change mid-term. Our billing guide covers this in detail.
8. Support
Ask how you reach support, and whether response times are written down. Ask how you can request a feature.
What ScoreFluent offers
- Your brand on the student side. Your logo, your colour and your own subdomain. A custom domain is available on request. Students never see prices.
- Honest limits. The platform is built and scored by ScoreFluent. We do not claim that students never see the ScoreFluent name.

- 7 exams in one seat. Future exams are included at no extra cost.
- Teachers at the centre. Admin and teacher roles. Teachers manage invites and student lists with no billing access. The console shows weak areas by student and by cohort, and exports usage to CSV.
- Priority support and feature requests. Priority support is on every plan. We review every request and build what fits.

Common questions
What does white label mean for PTE and IELTS practice software? It means the platform shows your institute's name and branding to students, not the vendor's alone. The depth varies. Some vendors give a co-branded subdomain. Others support your own domain, sometimes for a fee.
Do white-label platforms charge extra for a custom domain? Some do. AlfaPTE's brochure describes a co-branded subdomain at no extra fee and a one-time setup fee for a fully branded own domain. E2Language states a monthly hosting fee for platform instances. Ask every vendor to list setup and hosting fees in writing.
What branding does ScoreFluent offer institutes? Your logo, your colour and your own subdomain. A custom domain is available on request. Students never see prices. The platform is built and scored by ScoreFluent, and we do not claim the ScoreFluent name never appears.
Does ScoreFluent have iOS and Android apps? No. ScoreFluent has no store apps. It is a web app that runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. If a branded store app matters to you, AlfaPTE describes a personalised student mobile app.
Which white-label vendors support IELTS as well as PTE? Gurully, Marvel Edu and Genebyte, and E2Language state IELTS alongside PTE. AlfaPTE has a separate IELTS institute product. ScoreFluent covers IELTS Academic and General Training in the same seat as PTE and five other exam families.
