🎯

In short

  • APEUni is PTE-only. It publishes special packages for institutions but no prices, minimum or validity.
  • ScoreFluent covers 7 exam families in one seat, with a 2-seat minimum and month-to-month billing.
  • You create the portal, invite people, change seats and cancel yourself. No sales call.
  • APEUni has a large PTE community, an app, and teacher feedback on assignments. ScoreFluent has none of those three.

This page is written by the ScoreFluent team. It is for owners and directors of coaching institutes and language schools. We say plainly what APEUni publishes, what it does not, and where it is the better fit.

The short version

APEUni is a well-known PTE practice platform. Its institute offer is handled by contact: its site invites institutions to message it on Telegram or WhatsApp.

ScoreFluent sells institute seats online. Each seat opens all seven exam families we cover. Create your institute portal and try it before you decide.

What does APEUni publish for institutes?

Three public sources describe it:

  • A page on special packages for institutions. It says institutions can choose different package types and gives contact details. We found no price, minimum purchase or validity period there.
  • A partnerships post from 2020. It describes a teaching partner programme. Partners are recommended on the platform, and registered class members get 15 days of VIP.
  • An App Store listing. A release note mentions an institutional version where students submit assignments and view teacher feedback.

We found no published white-label, admin portal, seat or support terms for institutes.

Where APEUni may fit

  • PTE only. If every one of your students takes PTE, a PTE-specific tool has less to learn.
  • A large PTE community. Students may already know APEUni and use it on their own.
  • An app. It has an iOS app. ScoreFluent runs in a phone browser only.
  • Teacher feedback on assignments. If you want teachers to see submitted work and reply inside the platform, APEUni says its institutional version does this. ScoreFluent does not have teacher marking or comments.

Where ScoreFluent may fit

  • More than one exam. Many schools teach PTE, IELTS and TOEFL in the same building. One seat opens all seven families. See practice software for IELTS, TOEFL and LanguageCert.
  • Future exams at no extra cost. Every exam we add later is on every plan.
  • Buying without a sales call. You can see the terms, start a trial and manage seats yourself. Among the platforms we reviewed, we found none that publishes a month-to-month, cancel-any-time seat plan with a 2-seat minimum and self-serve signup. For the wider picture, see our roundup of institute platforms.
  • Scoring against official criteria. Result screens show each exam's official marking criteria. We do not publish an accuracy figure.
  • Unlimited scored practice. Subject to fair use: up to 40 speaking and 20 writing attempts per student per day.
  • Personalised Tips. Each student gets a monthly allowance of detailed AI feedback that grows with the plan. When it runs out, answers are still scored.
  • Support and requests. Priority support on every plan. Feature requests are welcome. We review each one and build what fits.

ScoreFluent supports your teachers. It does not replace them. Your teachers decide what students work on, and the console shows them where each student is weak.

What ScoreFluent does not do

  • No store apps. Students use it in a phone browser.
  • No teacher marking or comments. Teachers can see results and weak areas, not reply on an attempt.
  • A smaller bank outside PTE. Our PTE bank is about 3,100 items. Other exams have roughly 400 to 600 items and 2 full mocks each.

If practice volume is your main criterion, compare the current bank and mock counts on each provider's site. We are newer than APEUni.

How to decide

  1. List the exams your students sit. If it is only PTE, weigh the community and app. If it is several, weigh one seat for all.
  2. Decide if you need teacher feedback inside the platform.
  3. Decide how you want to buy: by contact, or online with month-to-month seats.
  4. Ask each vendor for the terms in writing. Our terms are on /for-institutes.

Sources and review method

Reviewed 22 October 2026. APEUni facts came from its own pages: special packages for institutions, partnerships, terms of service and its App Store listing. We did not contact APEUni or sign in, so anything it offers only by private quote is not reviewed here. ScoreFluent details come from the live product and the institute page. ScoreFluent wrote this comparison and is not affiliated with APEUni, so treat its judgements as the view of one provider. If a fact here is out of date, email support@scorefluent.com and we will check it.
